Mouser Expands Footprint In Japan

Dallas-based electronics distributor Mouser Electronics is in a major expansion in Japan, in a new partnership with Macnica, Inc., the two said this morning. Mouser and Macnica said they have launched a new, co-branded website, which is available to customers in Japan. Macnica is a Japanese semiconductor distributor, which focuses on technical support. The two said Mouser will handle new product content and engineering quantities for prototype development for those customers in Japan, with Macnica focused on volume distribution and technical support services. Financial details of the link between the firms were not announced.
