Omnitracs Up For Sale, Says Report

Dallas-based fleet management software developer Omnitracs is up for sale, according to the WSJ, which says that Vista Equity Partners is looking for around $2 billion for the company. Omnitracs has reportedly hired investment bankers Evercore and Atlas Technology to represent the company. The report--citing "people familiar with the matter"--says Omnitracs earned around $115M on around $400M of revenue in 2017. Vista Equity Partners acquired and moved Omnitracs to Dallas in 2014.
