Mood Media Nets $20.2M From Sale Of European AV Integrator

Austin-based Mood Media Corporation, best known for piping music into business locations, said on Thursday that it has completed its sale of BIS, a European integrator of audio/visual, video, digital signage, and other systems, to Econocom. Mood Media said the transaction is valued at approximately $20.2M. The deal had been announced in May. Mood Media provides "customer experience" technology and systems, ranging from sound to social media and free Wi-Fi, to scent systems to put consumers in the mood for purchases.
