Groupon Makes $150K Available To Houston Businesses Hit By Harvey

Online coupon and deal site Groupon is making $150,000 available to small businesses who have been hit by recent hurricanes, including those in Houston hit by Hurricane Harvey. According to Groupon, it has created a "small business recovery fund" which specifically will be available to local businesses in the Houston area and Florida, to help them recover from the costly damages of recent hurricanes. Groupon said its efforts in the area will be managed by micro- and small-business lending provider LiftFund, which will administer the fund in Texas and Florida. LiftFund is a nonprofit headquartered in San Antonio.
