Dell Technologies Aims Focus At Internet of Things

Round Rock-based Dell Technologies has launched a new division focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), the company said this week, in a big launch. According to Dell Technologies, it will invest $1 billion in a new Internet of Things division, which will be led by Ray O'Farrell, the CTO of VMware. Dell said the new IoT division includes as new IoT specific products, labs, partner program and consumption models.
