KBR Acquires Australian Defense IT Services Firm

Houston-based consulting provider KBR announced today that it is acquiring Sigma Bravo Pty Ltd., a provider of information technology and communications technology services for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to KBR, Sigma Bravo provides support for mission planning and information management systems and programs at the ADF. The acquisition marks the first time KBR has entered the classified work area in Australia, according to the company.
