Accruent Acquires BlueCielo

Austin-based Accruent, the developer of asset management software, said today that it has acquired BlueCielo, a developer of Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM) software. Accruent did not announce financial details of the acquisition. BlueCielo was based in Amsterdam. According to Accruent, the acquisition will help it accelerate its European expansion efforts. Accruent has been very active lately with acquisitions: the company recently acquired two other companies: Lucernex, a developer of workplace management software, and Verisae, a developer of facility and asset management software for the cloud. John Borgerding is CEO of Accruent.
