TechShop Shuts Down, Shutters Round Rock Location

TechShop, the "Maker" space operator which allowed technology enthusiasts to access 3D printers, plasma cutters, welding equipment, and other do-it-yourself electronics tools, and other resources for the DIY and "Maker" movements, has shut down all of its locations, including the one in Round Rock, and is now looking for a buyer. The company announced the shutdown on Wednesday. The reason for the shutdown was not announced, however, the company was taking bids to purchase the company online. TechShop had opened up its Round Rock location in 2012.
