MineralSoft Finds $4M

Austin-based MineralSoft, a developer of software for managing oil and gas resources, royalties, and more, has raised $4M in a Series A funding round, the company said on Wednesday. the funding came from Cottonwood Venture Partners, and also included Blue Bear Capital and Y Combinator. MineralSoft says its software helps mineral, royalty, and non-operated working interest owners and investors manage their assets. The company is led by CEO Gabe Wilcox. More information »
