Amazon Expands Whole Foods Delivery Efforts
Amazon and Whole Foods Market said this morning that they are extending free, two-hour delivery of groceries from Whole Foods to Amazon Prime members in San Francisco and Atlanta. Amazon said that orders over $35 from Whole Foods Market will be receive free, 2-hour delivery, through its Prime Now app. Amazon had previously only offered up delivery of groceries from Whole Foods in Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas and Virginia Beach. The move is a continued expansion of joint efforts after the $3.7 billion acquisition of Austin's Whole Foods back in June of last year.
