SpyCloud Snags $5M
Austin-based SpyCloud, a company developing software to prevent account takeovers by cybercriminals, has raised $5M in a Series A funding round, the company said this morning. The funding came from Silverton Partners and March Capital Partners, both existing investors in the startup. SpyCloud, led by Ted Ross, says it has created software which automatically detects and remediates employee accounts that have been compromised, and forces password changes, as well as surfaces compromised devices infected with keyloggers or malware. The company makes its products available to enterprises. More information »
