Eventador Finds $3.8M

Austin-based Eventador.io, a developer of stream processing software based on Apache Kafka and Apache Flink, has raised $3.8M in seed funding, the company said late Monday. The funding was led by LiveOak Venture Partners, and also included Deep Space Ventures, RSH Ventures, Capital Factory and Keshif Ventures. LiveOak's Venu Shmapant joins the company's board. The company said the funding included $1.3M in conversion of an angel funding. Eventador's software is used to build, deploy, and manage streaming data applications which are built on the Kafka and Flink platforms. Kenny Gorman is Founder and CEO of Eventador. More information »
