CLEAResult Acquired By TPG Growth, Rise Fund

Austin-based CLEAResult, which provides energy efficiency services for utility companies, has been acquired by private equity investors TPG Growth and The Rise Fund, the companies said this morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. CLEAResult had been owned by another private equity firm, General Atlantic. TPG Growth is based in Fort Worth, and is the growth equity arm of TPG. CLEAResult is led by CEO Aziz Virani; the company helps utilities and local governments in running energy optimization and efficiency programs.
