SpotSee Launches Real Time Tracking Via Satellite

Dallas-based SpotSee, a provider of shock and vibration monitoring products, said on Tuesday that it is expanding its product line, with a new asset tracking device which uses satellite connectivity to feed impact, temperature, humidity, tilt, roll and pressure information on assets to users. The company said the new ShockLog Satellite option is an addition to existing cellular and USB connectivity options for its devices. Pricing on the new satellite communications option was not announced. The company said that the data from its shock measurement devices is available in real time viewable from a smartphone or computer.
