CyrusOne Plans Data Center In The Netherlands
Dallas-based data center developer CyrusOne is planning a big expansion in the Netherlands, saying on Thursday that it has acquired 15.5 acres of land in the Netherlands, where it intends to develop up to 360,000 square feet of data center space. According to CyrusOne, the data center, in the PolanenPark business park, will have an estimated 72 MW of power capacity. CyrusOne did not say how much it is investing in the land and data center construction at the location; the company also has another location in the Netherlands, a development deal with Agriport A7 for a 270 MW data center on an 83-acre campus in Middenmeer.
