JASK Names Chief Architect

Austin-based JASK announced this morning that it has named Kyle Derr as the company's new Chief Architect. Derr previously has served at such companies as Cisco Systems, Civitas Learning, AllClear ID and Rapid7. JASK develops security information and event management (SIEM) tools specifically designed to run in the cloud, and is backed by such investors as Kleiner Perkins, included Battery Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, TenEleven Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners. The company's tools are used in cybersecurity operations.
