Adlucent Signs Up For Startup Diversity and Inclusion Effort

Austin-based digital advertising and analytics company Adlucent has signed up for Austin's Startup Diversity and Inclusion Pledge, the effort to get startup founders, CEOs, and investors to think--from the start--about recruiting a more diverse and inclusive workforce. The effort to increase diversity in the tech community was started by Stephen Straus, an Austin entrepreneur and former venture capitalist. Adlucent said that it will set the intentional goal of adding diversity and inclusivity, as well as transparency, to the core values of its organization to continue fostering "a winning company culture." Adlucent is led by CEO Ashwani Dhar. Other Austin companies that have signed up for the plege include data.world, Aceable, WP Engine, Next Coast Ventures, TechStars and Silverton Partners, and according to Adlucent the list now includes a total of 50 Austin companies and investors.
