ENGIE North America Buys Genbright

Houston-based energy project developer ENGIE North America said this morning that it has acquired Genbright LLC, a company which provides integration of distributed energy resources into wholesale electricity markets. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Genbright helps tie front and behind-the-meter solar, demand response and energy storage into the whole electricity market. According to ENGIE, the buy will help it further adoption and growth of distributed energy resources in markets throughout the United States.
