ULURU Names Vernon to Board of Directors

Pharmaceutical manufacturer ULURU Inc. reported Tuesday that it has appointed Tony Vernon to its board of directors. The Addison, Texas-based company described Vernon as an experienced healthcare executive who is also a director of several consumer, biotech and medical device companies, including Medivation Inc., NovoCure Ltd., Cord Blood Registry and Disc Dynamics Inc. Before assuming those roles, ULURU added, Vernon previously served as company group chairman for DePuy Orthopedics and president of Centocor Inc. and McNeil Consumer Healthcare. He also served as worldwide president of the joint venture between Johnson & Johnson and Merck, ULURU said.
