Austin Ventures Adds Vernon Bryant

Venture capital and private equity firm Austin Ventures said this morning that it has added Vernon Bryant as a new Venture Partner at the firm. Bryant was most recently at TGF Management Corp, which has been a co-investment partner on four of Austin Ventures' buyout transactions. He also has previously served at Beacon Group LLC, Sandefer Capital Partners, and Deloitte & Touche. Austin Ventures said that Bryant currently serves on the board of Sterling Foods, ENTACT Environmental Services, and was on the boards of Orion Marine Group and Southern Star Concrete, both portfolio firms of Austin Ventures. AV said Bryant will focus on its Texas Middle Market strategy with Scott Donaldson.
