Giact Systems Names Advisor

Dallas-based risk management services provider Giact Systems announced this morning that it has added John D. Chaney as an advisor to the company. Chaney is the former Chairman and CEO of TeleCheck Services. Giact said Chaney joins as Seniro Advisor of its advisory board. Giact provides risk management in the electronic payments area, via verification, authentication, and funds confirmation. Chaney was Chairman and CEO of TeleCheck Services, until he sold the company to First Data Corporation in 1992. Giact is backed by private equity firm Tritium Partners, which made a big growth investment in the company in January.
