HyPerformix Raises $5M

Austin, Texas-based HyPerformix has raised $5M in funding, the firm said last week. Funding came from Silicon Valley Bank and existing investors. Hyperormix develops predictive IT software. The firm also has appointed Peter Klante as President and CEO. Klante has served at Lotus/IBM, Cognos, and Vignette.
