Macheen Hires Trio Of Execs

Austin-based Macheen, which provides wireless connectivity services for connected devices, has bolstered its team with a trio of new executives this morning. Macheen said it has named Derek Brown, Vice President, EMEA; George Kanuck, Vice President, Sales and Business Development; and Grant Hartline, Vice President, Carrier and Network Operations. Brown will be based in the UK, and has served at such firms as Manugistics, Vastera and Vovici (Verint). Kanuck was most recently at KPCA Global; and Hartline has served at such firms as TrustWave, Cisco Systems, and Dell. Macheen's services are bundled with all kinds of electronics devices to help connect those to the Internet via a wide range of wireless, broadband, and cellular connections. The new executive team follows the appointment of a new CEO, Greg Stock, in April.
