Modernize Names CFO

Austin-based Modernize, which operates an online, home improvement and contractor lead generation service, has named Bob Bearden as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, the company said today. The company said Bearden has more than 20 years of finance and operations experience. Modernize did not say what Bearden was doing prior to the company, however, Bearden was most recently CFO of Outdoorsy, and also served as CFO of uShip, Travelocity, and Intent Media, among other companies.
