Next Coast Ventures Names New EIR

Austin-based venture capital investor Next Coast Ventures has named Sarah Puil as a new Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at the company, the firm said on Friday morning, as it continues to grow its team. According to Next Coast Ventures, Puil will focus on incubating ideas and solutions centered around the changing nature of digital assets and their consumption. Puil--a new transplant to Austin who previously had been in San Francisco--was most recently Senior Vice President at Civic Entertainment, part of Seacrest Global Company, was co-host and business partner on the show 'Women & Money' and the show 'Self Made' with Jessica Herrin. In addition, she also had been SVP of Product Development at Strayer Education. Next Coast said she also developed and launched 'Education Nation', an educational media event run by NBC News.
