Pharos Capital Buys FasPsych
Dallas-based private equity investor Pharos Capital Group announced this morning that it has acquired FasPsych, a tele-psychiatry services provider based in Scottsdale, Arizona. FasPsych manages a pool of contracted psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, which provide psychiatric services via video. The services are provided to hospitals, community mental health centers, residential mental health centers, and others who have a hard time maintaining their own psychiatric staff. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The companies said that Pharos was advised by Bass, Berry & Sims LLP and BDO, LLP; FasPsych was advised by Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. and Mulkey & Company, P.C.
