Alereon Adds $6M

Austin-based Alereon, the developer of ultra wide band (UWB) radio technology used for wireless communications between consumer electronic devices, said today that it has closed on $6M of additional funding for the company. The company, led by Eric Broockman, said the funding was led by Enhanced Capital Partners, and also included prior investors Pharos Capital Partners and Duchossois Technology Partners. The company said the funding wlil go towards expanding its wireless monitor docking stations, plus development of new technology. More information »
