Alereon Adds Private Label Program

Austin-based Alereon, a provider of wireless UWB chipsets, said today that it has added a new private labeling program targeted at OEMs and ODMs. Alereon said that it will provide complete designs, documentation, and software for certified wireless USB products. According to Alereon, the new program will allow vendors to get Certified Wireless USB products to market in as little as four weeks. Aleron is a provider of a wireless USB chipset, which can be used to connect portable devices and consumer electronics to PCs via a wireless connection.
