Rackspace Hires CFO

San Antonio-based Rackspace said this morning that it has named Bruce Knooihuizen as its Chief Financial Officer. The firm, which provides colocation and IT hosting services, said that Knooihuizen joins from Dobson Communications Corporation. Knooihuizen will be responsible for all of the company’s financial and accounting functions, including investor relations. Knooihuizen has also served at Westlink Holdings, Ameritech Cellular, and The Ohio Bell Telephone Company.
