RESA Power Acquired By Blue Sea Capital

Houston-based RESA Power, a service provider which helps supply electrical equipment for the power distribution and utility market, has been acquired by private equity investor Blue Sea Capital. Terms of the acquisition, announced last week, were not announced. Blue Sea Capital is based in Florida, and focuses on the lower middle market. RESA Power is led by CEO Brian McSharry. The company specializes in supplying obsolete, hard-to-find, as well as current equipment for the power market, including transformers, switchgear, breakers and motor control centers.
