RetailMeNot Hires Away eBay Marketplace VP

Austin-based coupon information provider RetailMeNot has hired away an eBay veteran as its new Senior Vice President, Retailer and Brand Solutions, the company said today. RetailMeNot said it hired Michael Jones--formerly Vice President of Merchant Development at eBay--to the new position, to head up relationships with large retailers and brands. Jones had been responsible for sales, business development, merchant relations and operations for eBay's marketplace business. He also has served at ChannelAdvisor, AuctionRover.com, and Stingray Software.
