McAfee Buys Citadel Security
Santa Clara-based McAfee said today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Dallas, Texas-based Citadel Security Software, for approximately $56M in cash plus $4m in working capital reimbursement. Citadel develops policy compliance and vulnerability remediation software. According to McAfee the deal is an asset purchase. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
