McAfee Opens Security Operations Center In Plano
Cybersecurity software giant McAfee said late Monday evening that it has opened up two new, global security operations centers, including one in Plano, Texas. According to McAfee, the new "state-of-the-art" cyber and physical security operations centers, called the McAfee Security Fusion Centers, are based in Plano and Cork, Ireland. McAfee said those centers will help protect the company and its technology infrastructure from cyberthreats, will help the company build better products based on real-time security operations, and also will be made available to customers ona monthly schedule, so those customers can better understand security operations technology and operations best practices. McAfee did not say how many it will employ at the new center in Plano.
