Angel Investments Up
The Center for Venture Research at the University of New Hampshire is reporting this week in a study that angel investments increased in 2006 by 10.8 percent from 2005. The study said that angel investors spent $25.6B in investments in entrepreneurs in 2006, and that angel activity resulted in 201,400 new jobs created in the U.S. According to the study angel investors are the largest source of seed and start-up capital.
