PublicRoutes.com Adds Houston

Online directions-giver PublicRoutes.com has launched a new navigational tool for the Houston metropolitan area and Harris County, the company revealed Monday. PublicRoutes.com said its service will complement the existing Metropolitan Transit Authority Trip Planner by offering residents and tourists advanced services, including guides to local restaurants and attractions, support for up to 14 languages, flight and lodging information provided by Travelocity, and user-contributed directions. PublicRoutes.com added that it utilizes all of Houston’s public transit services, including rail, bus and lift van.
