Surgient Names Pazos Worldwide Sales VP

Austin, Teas-based Surgient has hired Fred C. Pazos as its vice president of worldwide sales, the company reported Monday. Pazos, a 30-year sales management veteran, will oversee Surgient's global sales team and its direct sales and reseller programs. Prior to joining Surgient, Pazos served as vice president of sales and marketing for Exadel, a privately owned software company. Before Exadel, Pazos held similar roles with the Everdream Corp. and at Intraware. He has also worked for IBM, Wyse Technologies and Hitachi America. Based in Austin, Texas, Surgient is a provider of virtual labs, which are on-demand applications that simulate enterprise software environments and are used for testing purposes.
