SolarWinds Acquires Neon Software

Austin, Texas-based SolarWinds said today that it has acquired Neon Software, a provider of discovery, mapping, and visualization software for the networking market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SolarWinds is a provider of Windows-based network management software, and is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Bain Capital, and Insight Venture Partners.
