ACS Buys Healthcare IT Firm

Dallas, Texas-based information technology provider Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. said Monday that it has acquired CDR Associates, LLC, a provider of recovery and technology services for the healthcare market. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CDR Associates serves healthcare payers, providers, and government-based programs. ACS said the acquisition occured in April of 2007, and that all of CDR's 163 employees joined the firm on acquisition.
