Pivot3 Unveils Partner Program

Sprint, Texas-based Pivot3, a developer of distributed, block-based data protection product that utilizes software-based virtual RAID controllers, reported Tuesday that it has launched a partner program targeting the physical security market. Pivot3 said its program is designed to assist resellers, integrators and solution providers in offering IP storage cluster solutions to end users in the physical security market—such as video surveillance. Pivot3's products use a PC servers instead of specialized RAID controllers as the basis for its storage products.
