Vincera In Alliance With Security Firm

Austin, Texas-based Vincera, a developer of software for protecting digital documents, and Tablus, a developer of content loss prevention software, said yesterday that the two are in a strategic alliance. The two will work together to provide their clients with what the firms describe as a complete solution for monitoring and controlling sensitive information in networks. Tablus provides products used for monitoring e-mail, webmail, and file transfers to prevent loss of sensitive content; Vincera has software which encrypts, monitors, and manages distribution of that same data using digital watermarking and other techniques.
