Mavenir Joins Industry Group

Richardson, Texas-based Mavenir Systems, a developer of networking products, said today that it has joined the IMS Forum, an industry group focused on IP Multimedia Subsystems. Mavenir is a developer of a convergence gateway for connecting fixed and mobile telecommunications networks. The IMS Forum is an industry group that focuses on creating interoperable IP multimedia systems, through working groups, interoperability plugfests, and other activities. Mavenir is venture funded by Austin Ventures, Alloy Ventures, and North Bridge Venture Partners.
