BMC Software Integrates SOA Tracking Tool

BMC Software, a developer of enterprise management applications, revealed Tuesday that it has integrated its MAINVIEW Transaction Analyzer with MQSoftware's Q Nami! Application. BMC's MAINVIEW Transaction Analyzer is the firm's mainframe monitoring tool, used by mainframe operators to monitor and troubleshoot their systems. Q Nami is a is used for transaction monitoring for SOA applications. BMC explained that the combination will grant its customers real-time transaction tracking, monitoring and evaluating across the IT environment, from back-end mainframe processing to front-end distributed systems. BMC will also make the Q Nami! application through BMC MarketZone and sell the product globally. BMC Software is based in Houston.
