Online travel agency Travelocity revealed Wednesday that it has launched its first North America-based Spanish-language Web site, www.travelocity.com.mx. Travelocity said the new site is intended to serve the travel-related needs of the 20 million-plus people in Mexico who have Internet access. Travelocity said the site will offer bookings for flights, hotels, car rentals and vacation packages. The company added that the site is currently in English and Spanish but should be completely in Spanish by next year. Additionally, Travelocity said Spanish-speaking agents provide customer service via a toll-free number. Based in Southlake, Texas, Travelocity is owned by Sabre Holdings Corp.
