Troux Technologies Names CEO

Austin, Texas-based Troux Technologies said Monday that it has appointed David D. Hood as the firm's Chief Executive Officer. Hood joins from NetSolve, where he was CEO until its acquisition by Cisco. Hood has also served at BeVocal, Dell, and At&T. Hood succeeds company founder Hang Weghorst. Troux Technologies is developing software for the IT management market, including software for managing strategic planning.
