CDB Software Opens Offices in China

CDB Software Inc., a developer of DB2 z/OS data management applications, reported Tuesday that it has launched local operations in China. Located in the capital city of Beijing, CDB Software China will enable the company to capitalize on growth opportunities in a quickly developing Chinese market, CDB said. As the newly appointed general manager, Guan Zhisong will supervise CDB’s Beijing office. The company said Zhisong is the former vice president of the Beijing Bigain Group. Founded in 1985, CDB Software is a privately held corporation based in Houston. The company maintains a presence in 31 countries, including international offices in Australia, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and now China.
