Zilker Labs Raises $10M

Zilker Labs Inc., a manufacturer of integrated circuits, announced Tuesday that it has concluded its fourth round of venture financing after raising $10 million from existing investors Sevin Rosen Funds, North Bridge Venture Partners and H.I.G. Ventures. The Austin, Texas-based company said it will use the money to expand its sales staff to meet growing demand for its Digital-DC line of power conversion chips. Zilker Labs chips are embedded in data communications, telecommunications, industrial control and other electronic systems. Founded in 2002, Zilker Labs has sales offices and engineering centers throughout the United States and Asia.
