Owlchemy Labs Raises $5M For VR Games

Austin-based Owlchemy Labs, a developer of virtual reality game software, has raised $5M in a Series A funding, according to the company. The funding came from Qualcomm Ventures, HTC, The VR Fund, Colopl VR Fund, Capital Factory, as well as local, Austin entrepeneurs. Alchemy Labs makes "Job Simulator", a VR game which takes those popular "food assembly" games into the VR space. Alchemy Lab is led by Alex Schwartz.
