Rules-Based Medicine Raises $25M
Austin, Texas-basd Rules-Based Medicine said Monday that it has raised $25M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Equity Group Investments LLC, an investment fund founded by Sam Zell, and also included Cross Creek Capital, the private equity affiliate of Wasatch Advisors, and Stephens Capital Partners. Rules-Based Medicine said the round would provide the firm with growth capital, debt repayment, and funding for acquisitions and investments. RBM is an operator of biomarker testing services, used in the pharmaceutical development and clinical research business. More information »
