Staktek Adds Marengi To Board

Staktek Holdings Inc., a provider of intellectual property and services for module technologies, reported Tuesday that former Dell Inc. executive Joe Marengi has joined its board of directors. The company said Marengi, who has been a venture partner with Austin Ventures since August, spent 10 years at Dell, most recently as senior vice president and general manager of Dell Americas. Staktek noted that Marengi succeeds Ed Olkkola, who had served on the board since January 2005. Marengi also sits on the boards of two other publicly traded companies, Hovnanian Enterprises and Quantum Corp. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Staktek Holdings operates ISO-certified manufacturing facilities in Irvine, Calif., and Reynosa, Mexico.
