BMC Reveals Key Service Automation Customers

BMC Software, a publisher of IT automation and enterprise management applications, announced Monday that it has secured or expanded two key relationships. First, BMC said it has bolstered its three-year alliance with Tripwire, a publisher of data center compliance software. BMC said it and Tripwire will collaborate using BMC's Service Automation strategies to support Tripwire's latest release of its flagship product, Enterprise 7. Second, BMC said Onaro, a Canadian-based provider of storage service management software, has successfully integrated its application with BMC's Service Automation. BMC said the combination will extend its Business Service Management and Service Automation solutions to multi-vendor networked storage infrastructures. As a result, BMC added, joint customers should observe reduced operational costs and improved service response times. BMC Software is headquartered in Houston.
